Happy New Year!!

My apologies, It has been a while since I have updated our website!!! We have been very busy here at Yaraman Park for the past 12mths. We have an almost full house of agistees and a steady stream of short term clients using the agistment service for when they are going away or are unable to look after their horse!

I have been very busy teaching lessons this past year and have some regular students who continue to improve, I have also been teaching at local riding and pony clubs.

This past year we have hosted a number of clinics with outside coaches. Local riders have access to these coaches to improve their dressage. We will continue to have a variety of coaches throughout this year also.

If you have any questions or inquiries into agistment or lessons please do not hesitate to contact me.

Cheers

Bec

Spring is certainly upon us here at Yaraman Park!! Unfortunately I have had a slight injury from a fall late last week which has put me out of action for a short time! I however, have a very good prognosis and rest is the answer. All this means is that Nick has had to shoulder the  workload, feeding, rugging, paddock cleaning, mowing, along with all the other maintenance jobs that go with running an equine property!

I am still able to teach lessons though!

Nick has been busy spraying our paddocks in line with our paddock maintenance program and paddocks are coming on very fast with with spring grass!!

We have one long term agistment spot become available starting in October. Please contact me for further details.

28th August 2013

It's been a long time since I have updated this website!!!! We have been incredible busy on the property. Some new developments are the stables which are now available to use for private agistment or rehabilitation purposes! The stables have rubber flooring and are 3.75 x 3.75 in size. We are very happy with how they have been finished.

The hot wash, tack and feed rooms are our project for September holidays!

I am now available for dressage or jumping lessons. I have been very busy with lessons over the past few months and I would like to thank Kylie Burton & Bev Shandley who have helped and mentored me to become a better rider and instructor! Kylie and Bev regular visit our property for clinics.

Our laneways that service all our paddocks have also had a make over! They have struggled the last few years with the flooding rains that we have been had! However, now they have been built up and hopefully we will not have to put the kubota through all that mud again!

We have been doing an incredible amount of short term agistment which has been fabulous! If you are wanting your horse looked after whilst you go on holidays or simply are not able to care for them then please give us a call. We offer very safe & secure fully serviced agistment. We are already have some bookings for the christmas period.

We are lucky to continue to have Dr Mark Neilan (Animal Clinic Maffra) equine vet and chiropractor visit the property every second week to treat local horses here. We also have Ms Kylie Ritchie visit on a regular basis for equine myofunctional therapy.

Photos will be uploaded shortly of our new stables and laneways!!

NB Please note the the house accomodation is no longer available.

5th May 2013

We currently have a full house of agisted horses, however, we do have a couple of short term agistment spots available. More longer term places will be available after May 26th.

We are experiencing a very dry and mild autumn and everyday hoping for some rain!

Kylie Burton will be back giving a clinic on 11th and 12th May, for booking details please contact Bec (contact page).

We are currently in the process of planning to install at least two stables (to start with) here. We will then be able to offer stabling agistment, either for injury, rehabilitation or just general stabling (there will be a DIY option for stabling to reduce costs to owners!).

February 2013

Our paddocks are very dry with not having any rain for the past 9 weeks and some very hot and windy days. We are feeding out masses of hay, at least 1-2 bales of grass hay per day.

I am now available for lessons this year (see staff page for bio). Dressage and Jumping, here or I can travel to you (short distance). I'm available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (school hours preferable), Saturday and some Sunday's. Lessons can sometimes be organised outside of these times on occasions!

25th January 2013

We are well and truly in the middle of the summer season! Paddocks have really dried off and the ground is hard! Luckily we have an abundance of grass hay to feed out to the horses so that they can continuously have a pick!

We are also selling a limited amount of grass hay - $5 per bale

The last weekend we hosted the Kylie Burton dressage clinic here for the Bairnsdale Dressage Club. A great day had by all even if the weather was a challenge on Friday! Kylie will be back in April and May 2013. We are also hosting a number of other coaches in the next few months (see our services page for details).

We currently have 1 long term private agistment place available, with short term agistment available all the time in our equimesh yards.

Our undercover hot wash is well underway with the slab hopefully, being laid next week!

19th October 2012

With spring well and truly upon us and an abundunce of feed in paddocks, for the rest of October and November we are offering discounted rates on long term agistment (conditions apply).

It has been a long time since we have updated our website! Lots of things have been happening at Yaraman Park.

We have updated our large yards/smaller paddocks to equimesh and equirope so we can offer extra safe short term agistment to our clients for rehabilitation purposes or just general agistment (see facilities page for photos).

We have started our undercover hot wash bay and new tack and feed room, however, we keep getting held up by the rain to lay the concrete! Hopefully we will be able to finish this project shortly.

We have also started our post and rail fence around the arena.

We have hosted two successful clinics over winter for Kylie Burton who is a NCAS level 1 instructor specialising in Dressage.

We also have a two bedroom unit available for rent on the property. Great unit and also the ability to have a horse at Yaraman Park.

Yaraman Park is expanding our rehabilitation services! To aid our ability to agist horses for rehab purposes we have updated our yard/small paddock fencing to 'equimesh', one of the safest horse fencing around! (Photos of our updated fences are on our facility page.)
